Chopper Sportster:Harley Davidson chopper sportsters

Numerous custom builders and chopper devotees agree that the Harley Davidson chopper sportsters are the most popular choppers. Most of the allure of the sportster chopper is perhaps the smooth look that is present even in stock bikes. The Harley 883L or 1200L are two most painless bikes to build. The L part of the name means that these bikes have a lower frame and a somewhat increased rake.

Building a sportster can achived by extending the front fork by a couple of inches. For a bigger extension of the fork, a bit more work may be indicated, by adding the needed rake to the neck thus preventing the rising of the front and consequently wrecking the appearance of the chopper.

Allthow the extended fork looks awesome but they can increase the turn radius a bit, so extra care can be needed. An additional approach to building a sportster is by cutting the frame neck and modifying the frame
